The Innisfail Riverfest Quest offers young women a unique opportunity to develop confidence, leadership, and community connections while representing the Cassowary Coast. Through fundraising, community events, and personal development experiences, entrants grow valuable life skills and become ambassadors for our region, inspiring others while proudly promoting everything that makes our community special.

2025 | Dakota Dunford
For Dakota, being Riverfest Queen is about making a positive difference through kindness, resilience, and genuine connection.
Raised on a small family cattle property on the Atherton Tablelands, her move to Innisfail taught her resilience and the importance of embracing new opportunities.
Dakota dreams of completing her Diploma of Nursing, advocating for mental health awareness, and supporting animals in need. A passionate reader who enjoys fishing and camping, she has also excelled in choir, drama, Readers Cup, and award-winning short story competitions. Dakota’s caring nature shines through in the everyday support she offers others, making her an inspiring role model for the community.

2024 | Yolanda Jenkins
Yolanda entered the Riverfest Queen Quest with a passion for strengthening community connections across the Cassowary Coast. She sees the role as an opportunity to support local events, celebrate community spirit, and help create new experiences for everyone to enjoy.
When she’s not representing Riverfest, Yolanda keeps active by running an impressive 10 kilometres every day. If she could have one superpower, it would be controlling the weather to guarantee sunshine for every community celebration. She’s especially excited to attend the Mourilyan High Tea and dreams of one day seeing Dolly Parton perform at Riverfest.
2023 | Rikki-Lee Broccardo
As the inaugural 2023 Innisfail Riverfest Queen, Rikki-Lee set the standard for community spirit, leadership and service. Passionate about netball, running, camping, swimming and spending time with family and friends, Rikki-Lee embraced every opportunity to represent Riverfest with pride.
Throughout her reign, she supported countless community events, from Child Protection Family Fun Day and school activities to local festivals, fashion events and charity fundraisers. Her greatest reward was building lasting connections, inspiring young women to become future community leaders, and leaving a legacy of kindness, generosity and service that continues to shine throughout the Cassowary Coast.
